Question Opinions on LED Tails.

I have a GD3 Tidewater Blue Sport with NHBP headlights. I also have clear sidemarkers. If I put on red/clear LED tails, would it look alright? The smoked tails would match the darker headlights up front, but I am partial to the red/clear. Any opinions?

Here is the link to the Depo tails I am looking at. Only $120.

I guess it's too late. I just purchased the tail lights in question.

And for absolutely no reason whatsoever, an image from my local forum STLHondas.

I would suggest a chrome hatch garnish to balance the chrome of the tail-light tops, it'll keep the blingyness (is this a real word, I think not!) from getting out of hand on the back end of the car.

Smoked looks nice if the car is tinted. Clear goes well not tinted.

I'm not tinted yet. Eventually I plan on 50% all around, nothing too dark.

I got my smoked DEPO led lights before I got my car tinted. It didn't look right at all and I was wondering what it was that was so off-putting. As soon as I got 30% (or was it 20%?) all around, the car suddenly looked nice and everything seemed to work visually.

Damn. I just got an email from MatrixRacing saying that the lights are no longer available. You would think that they would keep their site up to date.

I will try and find these same ones again.

Bump to the top!

Does anyone know where I can find some LED tails that are red/clear like those at the top?

I don't want to buy N1s, nor do I want to drop $400 on OEM. I have had two orders cancelledd so far, one through matrixracing and the other through Viniati, as they were both out of stock.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
