6000k vs 8000k

6000k vs 8000k

so ...
i want to get some hids-
a huge part of me really wants 8000k, but then i think -- 6000k would be fine-
i like the blue and i know both are blue- but 8 is just that more lol
so lets see some of your pics please
any color temp for comparison is fine - thanks!!

I would say 8k b/c I have them and love them too, and also check out my DIY on installing them and there should picture of the 8k, but try to see the 6k and 8k in person to get better perspective on the HID kit then rather looking at pictures b/c most pictures capture the glare rather then the light it self.

dude i have deffinatly read your DIY-
its very well done- kudos
in the end its my car- but i feel ill be "made fun of" for lack of a better phrase with 8000k..
but that alone makes me want them more too !

I say just do it, go for the 8k, who care wat other will say.

personally for me i would rock 8 if you want blue.

i have 5000k because i want pure white. if i could have gotten at the time 4300k i would have.

go with the 6000k......

the 8000k will be too blue.....my subjective opinion.....

and the light output will be less.......

its still over 2 times brighter than stock...
so this doesnt mean anything to me.. sorry- but people say it all the time,..

or you'll blind oncoming traffic with your scatter light......

dude if you want blue...get the 8000k.

i mean thats just how it is.

if you want white with a HINT of blue then get 6. but like you said you dont care about light output since its still brighter then stock and you want blue.

Frank, those HID are bluer then my, wat company is that???
