Installed LEDs ***56k, Eat a Sammich***

I ordered some LEDs from this company on eBay :eBay Store - US Home Direct: 1156 1157, T10 T15, Wholesale Lots

They were this style with 18 LEDs per bulb:

I installed hyper white in the reverse, amber in the turn, and red in the brake/tail. I already had amber 194 LED bulbs in the top of the taillight. I also have tinted taillights using the spray tint from VHT.

Off

Headlights on

In reverse

Flashers on

Brakes on

The taillights are dark, not because of the LEDS. They are dark because I tinted them.

Yeah, but it doesn't bother me. You can get the load resistors to fix that if it does.

ya -- i knew about those
but i was pondering if you would need it bc of the puny blinker relay on the fit

The LEDs use so little wattage, you aren't in any way putting the OEM parts in any kind of harm. You are actually lengthening the life of these components because they use so much less amperage than the stock incandescent bulbs.

o no, i know that
im all about the leds, but i wasnt sure if the fit was "led friendly"
bc the blinker switch is in the gauge cluster, and not the huge piece that most cars use---

no it means they ARE needed
i wasnt sure if they were bc of the "updated" system,
but bc you CANT swap out the blinker block you NEED load resistors to stop hyper blinker
