Retro --> what to do with Fogs?

For those that have done a retrofit on their Fit what did you end up doing (if anything) with your fogs? throw in brighter bulbs? different colour bulbs? threw in a PnP HID kit?

I'm looking to get Retro's done real soon and have this dilemma... maybe my fogs won't even be used period.. not sure...

get some hids for the fogs, i love the way the fits look with the yellow film and 3000k hids, the fogs will help still even with retrofits so the more light, the better!

Why not try this.....Fog bulbs stock are H11. Change to H9 for about a 40% increase in light. H11 is a 55w bulb producing 1350 lumens. You can substitute an H9 bulb, 65w producing 2100 lumens with very little modification.

Basically, you have to remove a piece of the plastic in the connector with a razor knife. The indexing tabs are nearly identical but you might want to trim off a couple mm if you have a problem with the install. The two "lower" tabs are the same. The single upper tab is slightly different. If you put the upper tab into the slot and turn very slightly, the lower tabs just pop right in. There is a small tab of plastic on the actual light socket that might need to be relieved with the razor knife.

Cheap and very effective. Something I did on my 2007 Pilot.

question for those that did the film and 3000K... isn't 3000K already yellow? or does the film give the "ultimate JDM look" .... anyone able provide pictures with the retro and the hid fogs? both dead on and cutoff's?

the 3000k hids are yellow but since they are sooo bright they look more stock color looking infront of them but on the ground its yellow, 3000k hid fogs with the film is the way to go, brightest you can get with having film and not burning through, i found the hids to be more helpful than stock ones bec the stock h11 bulbs have a weird cutoff and the hids are lower and wider cutoff, it just looks right with hid headlights thats all i know, i couldnt be any happier with my setup.

this is the best i can do

do you have HID's for your regular bulbs too? if so do the fogs "over power" the head lights in anyway? or is the cutoff completely separate?

yeah i have HIDS in my regular headlight location
4300k low beam
3000k foglight

the fogs does not over power at all, if i park in a straight road, the headlight shine way farther and away from the foglights, the foglights light the area in front of my car with bright yellow.
