I used a 10 watt 10 ohm for each turn signal bulb. i got those at Radio Shack. I got the bulbs at superbrightleds.com. They also have the resistors. I'll try to get some pics together.

I put an H9 in my fog lights. It is much brighter. You just need to do some lite modification with a dremel tool.

Thanks man! I ordered a 9LED dome lightbulb to replace the dinky stock one. Hopefully, I can see the cabin area more.

higher wattage H9 bulbs will probably cause you to burn out the harness

I replaced a 1250 lumen 55 watt H11 with a 2000 lumen 65 watt H9. I think I'm OK.

Thanks for the guide! I have a pair of PIAA mirror orange 7440s from my WRX that will be going into my Fit. Love it when it works out that way.

I was wondering if the (running lights?) The lights on top of the headlight were a 194 type. I was wanting to replace it with a blue bulb, possibly LED and was trying to find a working bulb. Also, if I replaced it with an LED would it still work the same? Would I need an adapter of some sort?
Edit: It is the 2827/2825 bulb I need, but is there one in blue? Would still prefer an LED...

"2827" bulb is a little more challenging to search and find...

WY5W bulb type comes up for that "parking light/marker light" location in the Fit headlight if you go to the honda e-store at

Honda eStore

and follow the parts links to the headlight assembly.

the WY5Y bulb, also known as W5W, is listed quite a bit on ebay....

blue w5w

or blue w5w LED

keep in mind that since that bulb is in a very visible location...
for appearance, you may want to choose a bulb with an unlit appearance easy on the eyes.
(if you put an ugly looking bulb there, you will see the ugly looking bulb)

the load resistors for LED's are needed for flashing bulbs, such as turn signal bulbs. otherwise, your turn signals will spaz into hyperflashing speed.

depending on where you are, blue bulbs there may be illegal.

e.b.
