I took a chance and bought a couple '194' type blue led's from superbrightleds.com and they should get here tomorrow. I think they'll work, if not they were only $12 shipped.

LED Parking/Marker Lights in Headlights

It looks like the 194/168/WY5W/W5W bulbs are interchangeable....

according to this site

they should work fine

I picked up a UV/Black Light style bulb for the trunk (168 bulb) in the 5-way LED style. It's a little too dim to light up the trunk beyond a few inches away from the bulb.

Lighting is coooool.

I bought the 6 led style, I think it will be about the right brightness for what I'm using it for.

Did you experience any problems with the harness? I thought H11 and H9 are NOT interchangeable. Thanks for letting us know.

So did anyone do the fogs yet? I did the silverstars for the headlights, but I want to match the fogs, any ideas? I found the PIAA's in the H11, but they got a horrible review on amazon and they are 75.00.

Fog Light Xenon Bulbs

I used matching bulbs for headlights and foglights by MTEC, comparable to PIAA. I did some research, saw them mentioned on Infinity forums.

The fogs are H11, headlight bulbs are H4 (9003). I opted for the Xenon Super White.

Got mine on ebay. Never thought I would say that.

First, I only changed the headlight bulbs, and the fog lights looked dingy yellow in comparison. Had to get the fogs to match.

Shipping was fast, too... nice to be surprised when they arrive faster than expected. You can find them here...

MTEC Store

or search using H4 or H11 to see what else is out there. I've seen a couple of silver Fits near Pomona/La Verne with yellow fogs that look sharp.

thanks buddy, would you compare your light color output to the silverstars? like are they 4000k and white looking not blue? I will give them a try, but I hope they match up to what I already bought. I always used to drive with the fogs and lights, but now that I did the headlights the fogs look weak so I don't run them.

They are 4350k, super white... see the current listing... pictures, comparisons of light output colors, which actually is specifically mentioned for Honda Fit here

When the lights are not on, if you get down on your knees at just the right angle, you can see a tint of blue in the fog dish.

I can't imagine driving without the fogs on. Drove headlights with fogs with my last two cars... Jetta VR6, BMW X3. The Bimmer had Xenon bulbs, which were awesome, so it was an easy choice for me when I saw the Mtec bulbs were Xenon.

thanks for your help I think they will match ok. wish I had asked before I went out and bought the bulbs... I would have got them all from that vendor . anyway I would think you can't see the difference between the 4000k and 4350k. I will post up once I get them in, again thanks I think you will help out some people with that link to the vendor! on a side note how do you like that ipod charger? I need to figure something out on that also.

Xenon Fogs to iPod Charger

I agree, the bulbs should work out great for you.

The Monster iCharger iPod Charger ?
It's the best ! (Nacho Libre)

Here's a link to a thread about it

stay cool !

and a link to amazon.com listing for it

you do also need a 1/8" stereo cable to plug from the aux input of the Fit to the audio output on the iCharger dock fitting (notice the jack input on the Monster dock connector in the picture)

i bought nice red LEDs for my turn signals, turns out they dont even fit, front or back! they turned out to be too wide to fit in any of the holes, even they were the same standard size! You have no room to work with in there! now im just lookin for red leds that fit turn signal, running lites, maybe even da fogs! point is, just be careful the widest part of the bulb isnt any bigger than oem or ur screwed...

An old quote, granted...but Sylvania and Osram are one and the same. Maybe they weren't in '06, but they are now. Just a heads up.

Light Bulb Reference

Nope, you can't really use the H7 bulb.

You may find some useful info throughout this thread, and also here

is a link to a Sylvania/Osram bulb replacement reference.
