New Guy-Looking for Some Help (License Plate Light Question)

I have recently upgraded my license plate lights to the 5 led multidirectional wedge bulbs from superbrightleds.com. That went great and the super white really helped match the back of my car with my hid's in the front of the car!!

My problem is this. For some reason, the left light keeps going out on me. Like the wedge doesn't seem to hold in there and it gets loose and then doesn't light up.

Any idea's on how to build that up or fabricate something so that the bulb stays in there and lit up more?? The right one is fine, just the left I'm having problems with. It's not the bulb its how it's fitting into the sockett.

Any help would be great so I don't look like a idiot driving around at light with only one light on.

Thanks in advance guys! You all seem to know so much!!

If u open up the rear panel and gain access to the bulb holder, look inside and u will see 2 little pins on opposite sides. Use a small flathead to bring the pins closer to the center. That way, when u put the bulb in, it will hold it in tighter.

or if you take the little wire on the led and pull it away from the body a little it will hold much better. it worked for me that way . i just dont want you to damage the bulb socket or your paint job

Thanks-- I tried just bending out those pieces of metal to try to get it to wedge in there better but no go. I'm going to try again tonight to actually take apart the bulb holder. I didn't even realize you could adjust that in there!

If anyone else has any other ideas that could work, let me know.

Thanks again!
