yup, i saw one person do it on there GE8, you just mask that part off and voila, to me its good looking but if theres no theme, i rather tint the whole thing. and you should put a chrome tipped amber light for your turn signals. or leds, the amber mirrors ruin the white-black theme

Looks good. I did it as well during the brief couple weeks i had my oem taillights on lol. But i didn't go as dark as u, i went 90% tint.
