N1 concepts tail lights

Soo.. I picked up a pair of CLEAR/red tail lights a while back and am now suffering the yellowish tint on the clear part

Is there anyway to refinish them to clear them back up? Heard of autosol but my tail lights aren't really cloudy.

I might just get some red vinyl and red it out.. or lightly smoke it lol.

There are a number of headlight refinishing kits out there that are meant to remove the yellowing and hazing from plastic headlight lenses (Mother's, 3M, etc.) Might work for the taillights too.

all those kits are are glorified light abrasives. Go to the auto part store and get yourself some rubbing compound and waxing pads. The yellowing is from UV and should be only on the surface. If it is bad use 2500 grit sandpaper and wet sand it. then go over it with the rubbing compound and finish with wax. I've done my headlights this way and removed most of the light pit marks from rocks etc as well as the yellowing. I could probably go over them with rubbing compound some more but when your doing it by hand it gets old quick and you soon compromise with a non glassy finish! Hahaha

I revived some tail lights on a car I was selling that I had used spray tint on. I first sanded the tint off. I had a power buffing wheel and rubbing compound that brought them to a better than new glassy finish.
