Philips Xtreme Vision H4 is yellow to me
Hey Fit'ers,
is it just me that Philips Xtreme Vision looks yellow to me?
It looks exactly same as OEM ones, just has more light output.
OEM and PXV have same 60/55W.
Folks over at HIDplanet forum love the PXV, and say they produce white'ish light output.

I dunno...
I'm always skeptical of bulbs that claim to have increased output when they are the same wattage and (worse) tinted blue.
I've never found that you can get something for nothing. My experience with PIAA, Silvania, Hella and HKS bulbs really jaded me to ones claiming increased output.

I have Philips Nightvision on my other car and it actually projects a 3-color beam - white (left), blue (center) and yellow (right). I like it. The yellow is supposed to make signs and markers more visible at night. So you're probably seeing the yellowish beam projecting from the right.

I know this is an old thread. But I too find the Philips Xtreme Vision yellowish in color. I just got one today and I'm disappointed.
