Arrow Shifter light

Has anyone installed a shifter light into their fit yet? I'm interested in getting one of these but don't know too much about which are good/bad. I've heared that Blitz has some pretty good ones. I'm looking for one that would just look clean and not too flashy and ricer but still noticeable. Any recomendations? Thanks for your comments.

I've had a shift light in one of my cars before. It was an autometer shift light and damn near blinded you when it came on. LOL

As for putting one in the Fit, I wouldn't think of it, personally. MAYBE, and I stress that word, I would consider one of the gradual lights like in F1 and rally cars. But that's a HUGE maybe.

After I own mine for a while, and decide if I want one, then I'll look into the shift beeper that I use in my S2000 - http://www.modifry.com/products/index.htm

It only requires power and a connection to the tach wire. It's programmable for any redline & shift interval, so it should work with the Fit.

i bought a pivot shift light. only 2 wires. i spliced the power outlet/Cigarette lighter wires. it was designed to read the rpm's from there. its acutally sounds crazy but it works! no need to tap to the ecu.

Hey this is a really interesting product, I think I might have to pick one of these up. Thanks for posting the info, I didn't even know something like this existed. Looks like a perfect shift-light solution for occasional use on track days!

I see a lot of them up for sale on E-bay, the price is good too.

i moded the ecu on my civic to have the cel light come on as my shift light, its pretty stealthy, i perfer it over the big ugly shift lights and tach.
i'm not sure if it can be done to the fit yet, haven't looked into it. but maybe i'll dig domething up...i'll let you know.
