HID intall issues!

I have a hidexpert kit, installing and lights aren't working. Has anyone installed these and can maybe tell me what I am doing wrong.

I will contact the company tomorrow but I thought it would be awesome to fix it tonight. It seems to be something in the adapter plug and the wires, my guess. I have everything else setup appropriatly to my knowledge. Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah it didn't come with replacement fuses and I spoke with the seller and he said nothing about em. I got them running and they look great though.

Did you end up installing higher fuses outside the kit? I actually bought these from what I believe was your recommendation on a thread, so you have this mchullah kit installed in your fit? Did you get fuses with the kit? I am new to the owning/installing of a car with HIDs, I have a lot of questions.

i didn't get any higher amp fuse for my hid's i'm still running the same. I don't see why you would get a higher amp fuse when the HID'S take LESS amperage then a regular bulb....

That plus the car's stock wiring isn't meant for a higher amp fuse, you might melt wires if there is a sort to ground somewhrere!

same here. As long as u keep ur stock fuses and don't upgrade nothing and just change out the bulbs you can't get your warranty voided. I have taken in my fit to the dealership that i got it from n i told em i have hid's and they are cool w/ it b/c im not changing anything but the bulbs (and adding a balast)

the "plug and play" kits dont seem to work, the stock wiring doesnt wont provide enough juice to fire up the ballasts.....i been screwing with the same issue all day, through the provided harness...nada....straight to the battery nice H.I.D... im just going to go buy some relays and build my own damn harness...

My kit came with a relay between the ballast and the bulb, i guess i sorta got lucky on that.

for these you always, always, always run direct power via relay from the battery.

my cheap kit reversed the freakin' + and - wire at the first H4 plug to the ballast, if it ****ed up the kit i would have been choked. great that i have my computer power supply handy and gave it a nice 12V to try it out with and used my multimeter and found the wiring was reversed from the factory, goddamn!

My HID kit, "Helligkeit" has not included relays how and where do you install these. Haven't tried installing them yet, just want to try and avoid frustration, thx

try flipping around the fins on the male plugin that goes to the headlights. i have installed three different hid kits in my car and ive had that problem every time. just try it until it works.

also, ive never heard of anyone getting bigger fuses for an hid kit. i dont see how that would help as the hids take less power to function.

The reason why you'd want higher amp fuses is that initial power is more than stock bulbs, this probably wont be an issue if you have a relay to use the battery power, but if it's hooked up straight to the headlight harness, then most likely your fuses will blow
