I am looking for cheap car alram with remote starter, any ideas.

I am also in the same market. I've heard mixed things about Lo-Jack and that's why I'm looking at other systems. I want a 2-way system that will page you when your car is started. I would also like something that would allow me to shut the car down if I was within the range of the remote starter. In my research so far, my favorite is the Galaxy 5000RS - 2W - 2 but I don't know if it will shut down the car or just disable the starter. Here's a link: Galaxy 5000RS-2W-2

 

I am looking for remote starter, because the weather back here is very hot, so would be nice to start the AC on before I enter the car.
