Zeta Interior trim falling off?

Has anybody had a problem with the Zeta Products interior trim pieces not sticking properly? ....and yes, I did clean the surface with alcohol first before application. I will say it is 95 degrees outside today but the kit was applied a day prior in normal 75 degree weather....Thanks

The plastic interior panels (dash, rear panel under the hatch) seem to have a lot of mold release agent either on or in the plastic left over from the molding process at the factory. Whatever it is interferes with double-face tape adhesive qualities and has the same effect on even industrial strength Velcro tape. The use of Denatured alcohol (from your hardware store, like ACE) seems to work better than isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol from your drug store.

But even with a better initial "stick" with denatured alcohol prep, high heat is very unfriendly to the adhesives used on the tapes.

fazzster & claymore-

I sent an e-mail to Angelo at Zeta today for other reasons, but in it I mentioned your posts and sent him the link for this forum/thread. My experience with this company has been that they fix anything that they can with regard to quality issues on what they sell. Don't know if there is a fix here, but Angelo did offer a fix for my own adhesive problem with another product. I'll bet that he will reply to your posts soon- my e-mail reached him too late today for him to follow up with you guys.
