replacing the factory speakers

I've been pondering the replacement of the factory speakers for awhile now. I currently have the factory radio but may upgrade sometime in the future. Currently though, the factory radio is fine. I was thinking of upgrading to two-way or three-way speakers and was wondering if you guys could give me some opinions. I was leaning towards these
Polk Audio db651s 6-1/2'' 2-way shallow-mount car speakers Certified for marine use at Crutchfield.com

These are surprisingly good for the money. They compete with sets in the ~$250 range. Unfortunately they sold out last night, but they are available on ebay and other stores.

Phoenix Gold RSD65CS 6.5'' Component Speaker System
or
Phoenix Gold RSD6.5 6.5'' Coaxial Speakers (Pair) if you don't want components.

thanks chase. my buddy has the phoenix gold's in his S-10 Xtreme and they sound awesome. I'll keep that in mind.
