Uncomfortable Seats

Hi guys

I own a 07 Honda Jazz and I believe mine is the JDM model rather than the USDM model. So, I'm not sure if the seats are the same.

Anyway, I've been driving my Jazz for a month now and since the first day I felt that the seats are a bit hard and if I sit a little longer, it's killing my back. Since there's no lumbar support adjustment, the lower back part of the seat protrudes a little.

I'm thinking of replacing them with reclining bucket seats (like Recaros), but I want to enjoy my car in stock form for a while. Do you guys have the same problem? Is there any simple solution to this matter?

please help

Hey alabasters

I've got an aussie spec 07 Fit/Jazz vti, 1.5L CVT and i've noticed that the seats do lack support. I personally prefer something with more support like bucket seats.

Ocassionally whilst pushing a bit around town, there is noticeable lateral movement when driving.

If theres a simple solution, I want to know it too

on second thoughts, is it possiable to use ADR approved seats and mount a harness using a J's racing rear strut bar. its like the j's racing jazz/fit . can it be done?

i have the usdm fit, i dunno if the seats are different from your guys', but i get lower backaches from the seats too. for the exact same reason, no lumbar support. maybe i'm getting old...but i'm not. i'd like to swap seats with another new-ish honda if it's a direct bolt-on but i doubt there are any. it's not too bad though, only hurts once in a blue moon.

yea i notice its worse after i workout or play a sport, cuz im already sore and ride in my car and i need the support for my back! i'll be 22 in a week so i shouldnt be sore from sitting in my car!!! so hopefully soon there will be (if not already) a honda seat thats swappable and still has all the safety gear as the ol fit seat.
