Does anyone have a picture of that shelf/ledge/space you are talking about here?
Seems like I don't have that on my Jazz. But I have a shelf below the glovebox that goes all the way from one side of the dashboard to the other side. It is a little narrow in the middle where the center console is, but the edge of that shelf goes all the way.

The under-the-dash storage is way more useful than this. I think you guys also have two compartments inside the glove box.

I now put a small LED flashlight there.

nice... but wouldn't just have been easier if the us did this too... i think the us got screwed in a lot of areas such as the center console.... but still... i love my car... i was thinking about fabing something that would fit there... or maybe see if that thing can pop out, and make a tiny compartment ... but we'll see... i'll doubt ill be able to make anything of it.

Here is a picture on how it looks like in my Jazz 1.4LS CVT:

I think this looks a lot cleaner. And the shelfs are more usefull than that tiny little one in the Fit. And as someone here said, the Jazz also got two compartments inside the glovebox.

I have now swaped the Radio/CD unit with a AVN unit: Pioneer AVIC-HD3BT (AVIC-Z2 in the US).

i put a tire gauge in mine...not that i ever would need to use it, i've got nitrogen in my tires and the tpms will tell me if something is wrong (or if it thinks something's wrong). i guess that's just the boy scout in me showing: always be prepared!

Yeah, our storage tray is pretty small. That tray looks alot more useful. I also notice your cruise control buttons are on the other side and there is a lone button on your steering wheel....what is that? Nice pic BTW.

I use it for the toll road pass. It sits in there nicely thanks to the rubber tray.

J's racing puts little anime dolls in it lol. But they have the same tray as the UK fits. I thought that was weird because don't the JDM and USDM fits have basically the same interior?

Has anyone tried to fit one of these in the US model yet? I know some old VWs came with dash trays in the euro versions that easily fit into the US ones. That would be an awesome addition I think.

Not sure if I am being thick headed but has anyone else noticed how the drivers manual and other docs that go in the same plastic container fits perfectly right there. Sort of frees up the glove box.
