Works Bell Paddle Shift Kit

I was wondering if anyone running an automatic sport w/ paddle shift has looked into this product. It's the Works Bell Paddle Shift Kit which lets you change to race steering wheel without losing your paddle shift options. Just trying to get an idea of how it is if anyone has tried it. Thanks in advance.

I just stumbled onto that site myself sometime last week and was really curious about it - 500+ bones though!

I've heard that Sparco makes something similar, can anyone confirm?

Sparco doesn't show anything on their site about it.

I was just starting some research on this as well. I have sort of seen some aftermarket paddle shifters, but none mention if they work for the Fit. I was trying to find out if there was a way to upgrade the steering wheel and still keep the paddle shifters.

Anyone else have any info?

2 year bump!

I want something like this. A fast search on the net returned nothing. Anybody know if this is still in production, or if there are any similar products that allow me to retain my paddles with the advantage of a racing steering wheel?

What exactly are the advantages of a racing wheel? All I can see is that you loose your airbag... not an advantage in my mind... unless you have a cage/racing seats/harness.

none, other than options for wheel thickness for compfort and not that it applies to anyone here but it can be a god-send in fully caged cars for popping off for being able to easily getting out of the car.

but seriously, is there any reason to doing this other than interior bling?? If you want any sort of an advantage, you'd be starting with a manual. Don't get me wrong, that part has a hella lot of bling going on with it... but theres no competitive advantage.

also if your going to drop your stock wheel, you at least need to be switching to a 4 or 5pt harness. Its not cool to compromise your safety just for looks.

One advantage to a racing wheel is if you live in an area of high car theft, no one's gonna be able to steal your car if there's no steering wheel on it. also, it's more difficult to tow a car if the wheels are turned and there's no steering wheel to straighten them.
