All New Audio Questions

Hi, I am new to this so here it goes. The day after Christmas I am getting a new:

Alpine Deck
Alpine Speakers (the new type-r) no component
Alpine AMP

I have everything, the new faceplate, harness, and a 4 gauge kit for the amp. I am concerned though about taking of the door panels to install the speakers. How easy was it for all of you who have done it? Also, did anyone run into any problems with the installation of a CD player? Is it held together by clips or screws?

This is my third Honda and i am only 20 and this is the first time I am doing the work, so the more help the Merrier...? Thanks for all your help and have a great Holiday - AP

super easy to install the speakers...but i had a problem with the deck when i tried to take my stock one out. but that was me. all my other cars have been a sinch...but my honda fit is most def complicated. it feels like im going to break the face...which i dont like doing, so i stop at that.

other then that...all the wiring and stuff is EASY.
