need some input from the stereo heads

i just got the 08' fit "non sport" and i love it but the stereo needs up grading, i ordered some speakers from crutchfield "i know but its easy to order from them" i got kicker ks5250 front and rear and a powered alpine pl-5 sub (band pass truck box)
i am trying to use the stock head unit because i dont want to mess with it ( looks like a b!tch to change ) will the stock head unit put out enough power for my front and rear speakers..or am i gona need a small amp ??

i want my music clear and i want bass but i'm not a trunk-bumper, just want a system for the grocery getter

any input good or bad would be apreaciated

you'll never get great sound with the stock head unit. Even if you add a amp your just adding more power not changing the quality. Something like a rockford Fosgate 3sixty or AudioControl DQ8 would work wonders but then your getting into a complete system and going against your idea.

Start with the speakers and the sub maybe you'll be satisfied with it how it is after than. If your not Head unit change is a must.
