New sub, Infinity Basslink
One of these weekends I will find time to actually install this. 200w rms, has a 10" woofer and 10" radiator sub. Reviews say it sounds nice, but a few have said it overheats. Since I dont really push my subs hard, mainly use them to fill in the sound, shouldnt be an issue for me. Just have to see which way installed works best for me since I always have stuff going in and out of the back,

great idea man, i've done some reading up on this bad boy and i'll be getting one too! works perfect for the fit, esp since we can take it out whenever.
I doubt you'll have any overheating problems unless you're listening to it on max bass for like 8 hours or something in a phoenix az summer with no AC.

Ive been wanting to get one of these really bad. It looks as if it was redesigned, I dont remember it looking that smooth a while back?
Now that I can see what it looks like and the space thats left, Ill be picking one up.
Does it come with a remote for adding bass up by the HU?

and there's also a new one, the basslink II, which has the option of adding a 4 channel amp(which just SLIDES into a slot in the basslink II and doesn't take up any more space), however the reviews for the basslink II i've seen aren't near as good as the original basslink. the 4ch amp is 50x4, which is pretty decent.
reviews say quality is really good, i'm excited to get one, just not sure which i'll choose!

I have the basslink II installed in my car and it sounds great. I was either getting the Alpine PLT-5 or the Basslink II but the price of the Alpine was somewhat more expensive so i took the extra money i saved and got me the amp kit. It's a lot of bass inside the car and a little bit noticable outside the car but only if your coming down the street. I got mine off of Ebay for $240 shipped NIB. Whenever I get around i'll post pix for you guys. Also do not put the sub to close to the backseat or else you can't lean them back (which im doing......) I am going to reposition it ON the backseat. Just mount it with some good screws and thats it! This way i can lean them back to use magic seats when needed. It comes with everything you need. The give you RCA cables which one end is just standard and the other end is angled to connect with the sub and you can put back the cover for a clean look! I didnt realize it till I was done and now im just lazy to go back and rewire.

I picked this one up new for 185 shipped from hookedontronics.com. Bought quite a few things from this store over the years, great prices and have always had good service. I also have the wiring from the sub box I had in my truck, using all quick disconnects in case I do need to take it out to lug something big in back.
