Installed Alpine 9884 with Metra kit cannot see the display while driving?

I forgot to post back once I installed the Scosche kit.... Not much difference. Must be a issue with the display of the 9884 and the angle that the kits place the head unit. Now just gotta convince my wife I need a Double Din unit.

y change outa the stock unit if you are not gonna get a dvd screeen ?
i think the oem unit is very good and very easy to see and use
so i am gonna keep my stock one untill i get a screen
so which one is better
metra or Scosche

I think the word out is that the Scosche is better color matched, easier to properly install with no - little gaps, and looks better as a single din. However if you get a screen, on page one you can see how badass it looks.

the overall look of it is really nice but the edges dont look like they are a very good fit.

Yeah sadly none of the kits fit perfect, just gotta choose which works for ya.
