i am looking to upgrade my stereo finally, would like to install digital media hu and upgraded speakers. I would like to stay local and support local business. Does anyone have a recommendation for a professional..someone i can hand my fit over to and completely trust that the job will be done right?

 

Good luck with that one! I don't trust any installer to do the job right, unless they let you stand over their shoulder and watch every move they make.
Take the time to read the forum. There is a lot of great DIY's and advice here. Most everyone is willing to help you.
