He use to be my idol. Wow, that was back in the day with OD-KD tweeters and ported midranges.

Artieman, how big is your box? What batteries did you add?
1.25cu.ft. per chamber....dual chamber with single square port...port is 13.5" long with about 35cu.in. 1" mdf.....using 4 0.5farad caps on gold bar rail with batcap400....stock battery/alterator.....all 00gauge power wire.
I started young when I was 5 years old in 88 with my father at the shop we owned called classic car stereo in scotts valley california....by the time i was 10 i was doing full customer installs and fiberglass boxes on my own
the g&s redline subs are still some of the best subs i have ever seen...
aside from the cerwin vega stroker subs which ive seen literally explode boxes....

the deck im running is from fujitsu ten....front components are boston acoustic pro's that won the ces awards two years back to back(i also have the matching imaging tweeters)....all interconnects are monster cable reference series...speaker wire is all OFC 12gauge fronts and 10gauge for subs....front amp is rockford fosgate 25th anniversary limited edition punch 150.

Some of my favorite Redline drivers:
GE206 6 1/2 midbass from hell
GE7010 Unbelievable 10 inch sub back in the day-sounds oh so good.
15 inch - crap, I can't remember the model number. Maybe ODIII-15, no that isn't it.
Injundon, to answer your question: 45

meh. My rearview fell off twice. The people at teh dealership are always looking at me weird when i go in and ask them to put it back on. LOL. Usually when i starts to point downward i don't bother with it until it turns sideways and starts to slap the window. then i get aggravated. I find that if u set it in a position and put hotglue in that tends to work. But because the whole area where the room and windsheild meets flexes like nuts in my fit even hot glueing it doesn't really do me much good. Just seems like the mirror is attached to a bad place for people like me

I don't even have SUBS and I noticed my rear view mirror shaking when at loud volumes. I fooled with the rubber gasket placement and fixed some of it.
I noticed this driving home from the dealer when I first got the car. Not so much anymore.

ive had the rear view mirror problem, the not enough power problem, and the windshield being popped out of the gasket problem. Yes i said correct... windshield popped out of the seal from my system.

I had 2 Kicker L7 solo-baric 15's and 2 Audiobahn A1500HCT amps. It destroyed my Fit

Accepted internationally 1 kHz represents the "0 dB" reference point of A, B, C Weighting and other filters utilized in acoustic measurement.

A Type 1 "A" weighted curve has a tolerance of +/- 1.0 dB.

basicly represents how the microphone is calibrated. most db drag microphones are cheap and not very accurate (more like +/- 1.7).
just showing the reading i got was true and accurate.

just cause you hold the record doesnt mean there isnt louder out there
just means they dont bother to compete...and my system is designed for sq not spl...it just happens to hit that high on the db meter....the guy who did the readings sets up thx theater systems for major companies around the world and works in the building across from me....thought it would be fun to see what it would do on the db...kinda a waste of his 50,000 dallor testing system for full freq scale readout with db, distortion, and harmonics
