I hope this helps some people to determine if they want to use this kit temporarily or even permanently.

anyway i like alpine better anyway.
plus i like the detachable navi option.
i can take it to any car.
alpine just released this unit Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. - IVA-W203/P1, and I am debating between it and the w505. the w505 is dual zone capable and I'm not sure if the w203-p1 has that or not?

has anyone figured out a bracket to support the unit?

the 203 is not dual zone. Don't waste the money on an alpine double din unless your getting the 505. I've installed many alpine units. And i've used a bunch of the 200 series. After i saw what the 505s did when they came out there was no going back. Especially for the amazing price. Also you can save money and get the little Navi harddrive that plugs in. Its cheaper than getting the black bird but you don't get the portability anymore. just a thought
