Does the new ge steering wheel work on the gd with the airbag and cruise control still functioning without major modifications?

not to high jack the thread but since we are talking about the steering
wheel.

is it possible to put stereo controls on a sport at non navi car.
yes i know its most likely not going to work with stock radio
but i'm think for the aftermarket stereos.

huh? the GE8 comes with paddle shifters too. i drove a few weeks ago. it may take some wiring, but all you need to do is send a signal to the ecu (the trans or motor?) from the paddle of your choosing.
