J's Racing SPL Floor Bar

Has anyone attempted to install this part on a USDM Fit? I was going to order one from Japan, but learned it doesn't fit the US spec. version.

Anyone know the mods. required or the differences?

i would require cutting the plastic trim on the side of the floor board. i think a threaded hole is already there so you could just cut a hole and screw a bolt and and your ready to go.

so basically, the hardware is there... you just have to trim the plastic so the hole is bigger?

i think so but dont quote me. if you look around on other body panelling there are bolt holes with threads behind them but nothing screws into it and on the jdm fit there is something there. try taking the panel off and checking to see if the hole is there to do this.

its the bottom bolt from the seat belt that is hidden on the drivers side. you would have to cut a hole or remove it which would look like crap but the bolt on the passenger side is on our seat since the seatbelt is attatched to it and im pretty sure there is no hole there to put the bolt in.

well that sucks I was thinking about getting this too. Oh well, it looks obtrusive if you got backseat passengers anyway lol. What about the crossbar and rear strutbar, do they work on gd3?

try the ultra racing C pillar bar and rear strut bar combo its cheaper and the C pillar bar has adjustable tension in the middle while there is no flex points in the rear strut bar since is solid and weights literally nothing . works really good i have it on my car

this is his email you can contact him with questions and prices. Mention you being a fitfreak memeber and he will add in a 10% discount if you purchase 2 items

what bars do you want to see?? the only ones i know that need slight modification are the lower 4 point braces. The front strut bar, rear strut bar and C pillar bar all bolt up with no problems

How much did you pay for that set. I looked around the sight and didn't see any prices.
