I have an 09 Fit with Navigation. Since the navi doesn't have RCA out, I am not going to add an amp, but I do want to replace my speakers all around.

What Focal speakers are best for this application?


Out of curiosity, if I went with 3 way speakers:

no, it would sound terrible. if you want a 3way, keep it all up front. its not worth it getting nicer speakers if you arent going to amp them. get a LOC (line out converter) and run the rca's to an amp.

 

JL audio makes the Cleansweep, that allows you to keep you factory HU and still run outboard amps. It also has xover support and additional inputs. If you are going to add quality speakers such as the Focal, you will need to run amps to make them sound good.

 

Throw out some budget $$ numbers. No to the 3-way. Keep it simple and it will be the best. If you use JL amps, you could actually go high level in as they take 8 volts of input.
