Failed Bluetooth install

When I originally bought my Fit, I had the dealer install a handsfree bluetooth system. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that they outsource to Car Toys (otherwise never would have gone through them), and the system quality is pretty poor. I'm having it removed and getting a refund, but I thought I'd post pictures of it first in case anyone wants to install something similar (with better sound, I hope):

Mic. in wrong location

No wonder your TX audio is so bad, the other end probably hear all the road noise from the mic.. Number one rule in mounting the Mic. is never to mount it on glass or any hard surface as it will pick up all the vibration emanate from the chassis. Try moving it to the head liner and your problem will be resolved.

I think it might also be because I'm short, honestly. My voice just doesn't seem to register on the mic, even when the car's at a dead stop. I'm planning on going for the f90bt/f900bt when I can afford it (instead of this setup), which would resolve both problems.

Ooooh, that looks pretty shiny. How's the sound (input and output)? What phone are you using it with? How much effort to install?

It is the best unit so far. Will paired up to 4 phones and sound quality is super clear. Install is simple, 3 wires (hot, ground and Ignition sense), radio mute option with relay or tap into the radio mute wire and use the audio jack input to route the RX audio through the radio.
