They key is still functional. You still have to turn the key to disable the immobilizer and then push the button to start it. To kill it, just turn the key off. I konw. it's pretty much more work, but you can also use the key normally just like it was before.

Pivot Illumi Starter Button/Switch

Has anyone hooked up one of these yet on their Fit? Is this easy to do?

what wires did you have to connect the push button to. i just bought the netami quick start with toggle switch and don't know what wires to connect it to
