Fairhope? Nope

Steeldog, I'm in the Dothan area....so it wasn't me. The furthest north I've been is to Ozark.

Ohh, OK. But for the record, Fairhope is not north, but down toward Gulf Shores, in Baldwin County, on the pleasant side of the Mobile Bay (away from the industrial side where Mobile is). My mom lives down there now with my brother, so I was down for an early Mom's Day visit.

Happy owner of a BOM FIT SPORT AuTomatic 2007
Just got one two days ago. Down in the Cherry Hill NJ area haven't seen many fits on the road maybe cause they are so hard to find in any other color other than white or silver at the dealerships locally. Had to go to Delaware to get mine.

Gotta love it what can i say its just a TIGHT FIT.

? ? ? ?

Just curious..
How many Fits are being manufactured for the 2007 year (33k)?
Of all the 2007 fits being manufactured, is there any way to see the breakdown of colors, Sport or Base, AT or MT?
I have not seen a single Fit since getting mine a few weeks ago...
Lots of questions from admirerers though...
DA BOM FIT, how many miles did you travel (NJ to Delaware) to get your fit?
I had to go ~170 miles to find mine..
First two tanks.. 31.1 & 33.2... I'm happy..

Hey Fellow BOMers-

Take a look at the "Fit Bodywork and JDM Styling" forum for a new thread started today. " Hood Air Deflector from Canada--".

Something new (and temporarily pricey) for your Orange Fits

Houston BOM Member!

Have had my BOM 5M for two weeks. It is replacing a MB ML320! I am commuting 42 mi each way and it didn't make sense to pay for gas and the depreciation on the ML. Originally the ML was in the shop and when I got tired of paying for a rental car I bought the FIT. Got the ML back this week and I trying to figure out why I planned on keeping both cars. Luckily my wife likes small cars (she drive a BMW 325 convertible). While I don't mind driving a small car, I'm not so fond of driving a cheap little car. Any owners seen or had install a leather interior? Also, while I have the FIT carpet mats I'd really like to change out the mangy mouse fur carpet.

My Fit is supposed to be arriving at the dealership, next Friday, June 15th!! I am so excited at this point, I've been dreaming of driving the car! I have to work that day from 3pm-11pm and my husband doesn't get off work til 5pm so there is no way I could pick it up that day even if it was ready. So I am hoping to have the Fit in my possession next Saturday, the 16th, depending on whether the dealership can clean it up and whatnot by that point. What's more exciting is that I will get to drive it to a father's day party that night to show all my family members!! yay!

I will post some pictures of it when I get it as well, though they will just be stock pictures

Nice. Had mine for 12 days now and am very happy with it. Especially the 40 mpg on the highway.

enjoy!

Bummer phone call :(

I am a sad panda today. And it's raining to top that off. I just called the dealership. My Fit has not left Japan yet. The arrival date has been pushed back to at least the 20th of this month, and then it might not even come then. It was supposed to be here next Friday, and I was going to drive it to my family's party and show it off

It's a no-go.

Hey KFit,

I know you must be really dissapointed. Hang in there, it will all be worth it.

I have an idea for the party. At the dealer they had a really nice brochure that opened up to a BOM Fit. They also have a really cute little book of pictures. You could take those with you and "show off" a little. You could promise rides after you pick her up.

We will keep our fingers crossed for you. I know you will be showing us pics really soon.

~Peace

Well, some good news!! You can see my new Milano Red Fit in the official MR Fit forum (whenever I get the picture posted)! Yep, she's sittin' pretty in my garage now. I like the BOM, but the red one was available TODAY! And obviously we picked her up today!

So, I won't be a part of your BOM club after all But, I can be an honorary member! We're all in this together, regardless of the color woot!

*cheers*

Yea, another Fit owner (officially). Did you get the Sport? What was your impression of the ride/handling?

Are you a happy camper?

I'll watch for the pics.

Colomon, I wouldn't have anything other than the sport! It's hawt. The ride/handling is excellent in my opinion, however, I've never had a brand new car so I can't really compare it to anything else Had an '87 Pontiac Bonneville, then the '97 Cavalier which I have now. The Fit is a serious upgrade! lol

I love the 5 speed already. Can't wait to get out and "practice" in it some more I am still a wee-bit rough on my shifting, so I need to get better at that, but otherwise, I am totally in love.

The picture is up in the Milano Red thread, btw

Yay!

Talking Almost in our hands!

We pick up our BOM Sport 5AT from the dealer TODAY! So very excited! Pictures to follow, for sure!

Whilst I am here, any comments on the above? I have designed similar 'ads' for all the Sport colors

Nice job!

I still say "it's not orange, it's copper"

So, where are you at? Out driving?

OH Yeah.... picked her up yesterday and took some pictures. So far, LOVING IT! The color is an orange/copper tone, more than orange. I think a lot of pictures on-line are not really representative of the true color but then again the lighting conditions are also going to be a factor. But boy is she the prettiest thing....

What kind of interior body panels are those in your pics? I NEED those, if they are pretty scratch resistant (6 kids, lol... my little BOM Fit is getting scratches left and right). Besides, they look so cool!

I just found this thread... proud owner of a beautiful BOM Fit. Now, if I can just keep the stupid baby seat straps from scratching the side of my car when Im putting it in, Ill be happier! Oh, also does anyone have experience with the clear film from 3M for the hood? I already have a few little dings in my pretty paint, and dont want to get any more I read somewhere about a hood deflector also, anyone know where to find them?
