Count us in! We just traded in my 2002 Jetta 1.8T for an Orange 2007 Honda Fit Manual.

Go us!

Smile New BOM Owner

Howdy All:

Okay, test drove my BOM Fit last Wednesday and should pick it up this Wendnesday (if all goes well....getting some of the options put on). On the test drive the air conditioning was ice cold and the engine quiet as a mouse. Once in hand I plan to have a clear bra and tint done here locally (better warranties than the dealer).

Gotta say, this looks like a great little car! A truly worthy successor to my 1988 Tercel.

Pics of BOM Fit with LED Tails?

Hi,

I just bought a new 2007 Honda Fit in "Blaze Orange Metallic" (taking delivery this afternoon). I've noticed that you can get LED tails for this car online. I was wondering if anyone had pics of a BOM Fit with LED tails on them. I'm interested in what the smoked ones looked like on the car. I also want to see the non-smoked version and also the clear ones. TIA.

Hi Ferretman,

I noticed you are in Colorado. Where are you getting the clear bra and the tint done? I am very interested.

The AC on mine is fine if the car has been garaged but if it has been sitting out in the sun it takes along time to cool the interior. The tint would probably help alot, especially with these ridiculously hot days we have been having.

Be sure to come post pics when you pick it up!!

~Peace

Thanks. I think I'll stay away from the all clear tails...not exactly to my liking.

Rear Bumper Appliqué ... just in case I slip witht the bike
Rear Cargo Tray ...
5% Tint all the way around ... maybe to dark
Deadmans Pedal ... it's alright ... fits great but feels like a odd angle
Fit Logo License Plate Bolts ... Sharpeed the top of the i with blue
Fit Logo valve caps ... Sharped the top of the i with blue

Looked for a Acura CL map light/home link at the junkyard and all over the net ... couldn't find so I ordered ... ouch ... supposed to be in 25 Jul

Been a while since I posted an update, so I thought I should...

I haven't actually driven the Fit much at all yet, as it turns out--only 80 miles on it total! There's been a combination of factors driving that--it rains EVERY SINGLE DAY here right now and I'm still in the "don't want a mark on it phase", plus I'm still trying to reach my personal goal of 300,000 miles on my venerable Tercel. So other than a run downtown to visit some friends at the bar it hasn't been out much.

I've contacted the clear bra folks and plan to run it by there in the next couple of weeks for an estimate and such--he needs to see the cut of the hood. I guess clear bras come in two "depths" and he wants to see it to recommend which would look best.

More when I know it....

Love my Fit!

BOM Sport A/T. Picked it up on 8/18, and have 1800 miles on it. Love it. Already installed a satellite head unit, floor mats, and ordered the JDM console. I'm thinking of painting the silver accents on the steering wheel, gauge cluster, and shift lever bezel BOM, just because the color is so sweet.

If I can just get everyone to stop calling it "adorable"...

Funny Ferretman....me too...

I have 3200 miles on my one year old. Last winter we had way to much snow...

I would love to take it on a road trip but not until I buy her a bra....

I would guess you also worry about hail...no?

I've had my BOM since April. I love my car, but was hoping for better gas mileage. Averaging 32 mpg, so far! I drive 36 mile radius back/forth to work on back roads. Hopefully, with this cooler weather (Alabama), I'll get better mileage.

I bought my BOM Fit Sport 5spd back in late July. The 5spd Sports were extremely rare at the time, and my dealer was out of stock so he did a dealer trade. BOM was the only color available - I have to admit that it was not my first choice of colors, but sometimes you have to take what you can get.

Four months and approx 4K miles later, I really like it. The BOM has really grown on me. If I had to replace it today, I'd choose the same color.

In the end, it's a great little car which consistently gets 37-38 MPG overall. I laugh every time I fill up next to some thirsty SUV, as $25 (8.5 gal) of fuel will last me a little over two weeks.

Just traded in my 2006 Dodge Ram Quad Cab (thisty thing). Drove home tonight in a 2007 BOM Sport MT. Just looked like it wanted to be noticed, different if you will.

Driving it was like driving a go kart. I love it. All the way home (22 miles) thinking I haven't even used a gallon yet and my truck would be working on number 2. Love it. Now on to the mods.
