Links to Fit armrests

Now there are two offering the armrests. I've linked the two for easy access:

Not bad, but once installed, if you don't like it and remove it, you are left with 4 holes where the mounting screws were.

I just ordered the folding armrest/console from that weblink (I live in Canada so I had to get a friend in the US to order it, then he's shipping it to me afterwards). When I get it in I'll post pics and a short review to let everyone know how good it is.

Cheers,
Kared

Thanks Kared,

Please let us know how it works with different seat positions (drivers seat all the way forward and all the way back). From the description it appears it slides forward/backward for this purpose. Anxious to know.

We bought the Zeta products armrest for our Scion Xb and have been quite happy with it. It seems pretty sturdy and provides some useful storage as well. It mounts directly to the rear seat bolts if I remember correctly, and so there are no extra holes to be drilled. Because fo this however, the armrest is stationary and does not move with the seat. It does however adjust to several positions off horizontal. The only thing that may bug some people is that you have to reach around or fold it up out of the way to pull up the emergency brake. (so I would advise getting one that folds.)

I'll likely get the Zeta products folding model.

In Mexico the armrest is an option. Anyone ever think about trying one?

This could be a wicked option. Who's going to get one and test "Fit" it?

Sweet! I didn't realize Zeta already had their armrest out for the Fit. That will be on the top of my list.

Are there any plans to make an armrest that is covered in some kind of cloth material?

Thanks.

There are currently no plans to offer a cloth version. In reality, cloth is not as durable as vinly.

What do you mean? An armrest adds comfort to the driving experience.

No idea. Right now Honda Canada and Honda USA do not offer it. It’s a one piece design with the complete centre console. The UK version works out to approx 250$ CDN shipped.

Definitely worth it for the exact plastic colour, same fabric, better integration and it has two rear cup holders. They offer this armrest in Mexico, and you can even see the mounting point for the AUX jack under the 12V outlet!

Smile

Most will not spend that kind of money. It is also more difficult to change the the entire console, rather than just add an armrest in 5 minutes. Don't you think?
