Handbrake Lever Replacement?

Hi guys,

A friend of mine has a 2004 Honda Fit Aria (JDM, but I assume this will probably be the same for all of the GD models) and her handbrake lever has been dog-chewed by the previous owner.

I'm wanting to get her a replacement as a birthday gift, and have got a price from my local Honda parts dealer, but I'm wondering if anyone would be able to advise me as to what form it comes in - should it be a complete assembly?

Also would like to know if possible if anyone can give any pointers as to how to disassemble the one that's there now, and how to reassemble it with the replacement.

Thank you very much
