so i have a gd3 and i was looking into getting racing seats and harnesses and a harness bar made. i already got a quote on the harness bar but i need the seats and the harnesses before i get it made. i already know i want the takatta harnesses but my question is is what kind of seats does everyone like... or have in their cars and show pics. also what kind of rails did u get with the seats. my car is for show mostly so i want something that is gonna give the fit a lot of street credit. but not something so rare that its gonna take 6 months to get in.

Regarding rails, I'd recommend the Nagisa Seat rail that you can her here:

The Buddy club rails are pretty good too.

 

I really haven't thought of a budget but I guess I don't want to spend 1500 per seat maybe that for both. I don't care if they recline or not but I'm sure the harness bar will stop it from reclining so maybe a full bucket.

 

some thing that will give you a lot of street credit? If you want alot of "street cred" then your going to have to go for some super rare baller seats, maybe something made out of carbon or kevlar.

I picked up a set of JDM DC5 Type-R recaros for $900 and then went with Bride seat rails, I would NOT recomend the Bride seat rails.

I'm looking to buy some "NRG JDM Type R Style Race Seats" just for the drive side of my Fit so... what do I need? Seat rails?

Also do I need to tweak any electronics underneath the driver seat?

It's the yellow blue and grey ones. I have a 07 fit sport

Buying cheap racing seats is like buying a cheap helmet, how much is your head,, or A** worth.

The cheap knockoffs are tubular steal and not the quality of an OEM seat,
they are pretty much banned in real racing, because the tubes can break in a wreck and spit you like a Christmas ham on the barby...
