Has anyone replaced the carpet with something other than carpet?

I am thinking about taking out the carpet, and getting like a truck bed liner spray put in place?

any pros/cons to that?

i go to the beach often enough and this car is kind of turning into a beater so im thinking it might be the way to go.

if anyone has also removed their carpet and did something different (spray, rubber, etc.) id love to see it.
