Moddiction Anvil Stainless Steel Shift Knob

Soo...I had been thinking about going a different direction with my interior, new boot, new knob, etc.

I started looking for a knob that would fulfill these requirements:

1) heavy
2) round
3) stainless
4) countersunk

Sounds like an easy task--but not so when you really get to looking.

I happened to stumble upon moddiction.com via a civic forum.

OMG...this is a quality knob. This thing is perfect in every way and is soooo low which is AWESOME!

I would not hesitate to recommend this knob to ANYONE who was thinking about it. They also have many finishes and colors available.

Hit them up... Moddiction Anvil Knob

Here are some pics (please excuse the fact that I'm bootless--working on getting a custom one made at the moment).

Just discovered these gems from one of your other threads today. Good find!

So, the countersunk models will go all the way down to the shift boot, even on the stock shifter? I have a round FD2 type-r replica and there is that gap at the bottom. I also have the OEM leather one, and it is longer and goes all the way down, which I much prefer.

Hey Btrthnezr3, was looking for shift knobs and found your thread on the moddiction stainless steel ones. I'm definitely interested in picking up one for my 07, as the stock shift knob's rubber has all worn off. I was curious, did you ever post photos of your custom shift boot? Was curious how it turned out. Also, how's shifting for you with a heavier knob? And does it get hot in the summer/cold in the winter? I live in AZ, where it gets 115F in the summer =P

Any pics for us? =) It hit 99F today in Phoenix, and just the stock GD3 shifter was a bit warm to the touch for me after sitting out in the church parking lot all morning. Do you use a sock?
