The title says it all. I'm going to replace the head unit in my 08 Fit base MT. The CD player went out, so I'm going to pick up a salvaged head unit on ebay and I'm going to add the Aux in while I'm at it. The sport model has more watts IIRC, and plays MP3s in the CD player (not useful for me). Are there any other differences?

Is there any reason to try to get a HU from a base Fit or will the Sport one fit fine?

I do not see why it would not work. Should just be plug N' Play

 

Thanks for the response. That's what I thought, but didn't know if there were some quirks that might have made the two dashes or head units different.

Anybody out there have any direct experience with it?

 

should be plug and play, just make sure you have the radio code

 

^^ that is a good point, make sure to get the code or the radio is usless
