Does anyone get song info to display via Bluetooth?
I just bought a 2013 Honda Fit Sport with Navi and I LOVE it. The only thing I'm disappointed about is the lack of music info (track name, artist, album, etc.) on the head unit screen when I'm playing from my iPhone 4s via bluetooth. It just says "Stacey's iPhone" with a ton of blank space below. Does anyone get song info over bluetooth?
I can control all music apps (I prefer Spotify) with the steering wheel controls, but there is a 3-second delay when I skip or play/pause a song. I can live with that, but I'd really like to see what song is playing.
I've done a lot of research and it seems like a lot of people have this problem with bluetooth devices, but I haven't found a solution. I even tried some Cydia tweaks since my phone is jailbroken. I have tried with my phone (jailbroken 4s w/ iOS 5) and another phone (iPhone 4 w/ iOS 6).
I get song info when I plug into the USB and play from the Apple native music app. Spotify plugged into USB says "not supported" but it plays and allows me to control it through the car. Plugging into AUX plays music, but doesn't allow me to control any app from the car.
Any ideas? Thanks

I wish I had an answer for this problem!
In my case (Honda fit LX), with an iphone 5s and latest ios, I don't always get the song info, just sometimes.
When I do get audio track info, it _mostly_ happens when I start the podcast app on a particular podcast after I had been listening to the radio. Same thing for google music or other apps.
The real problem is that I don't ever have time to figure out what magic combination of activities will cause the track info to appear all the time-- why? Because I am driving when this happens and I don't feel like pulling over to troubleshoot the audio system or fussing with it while driving.
This is probably a Honda problem, and the only real fix will be a firmware upgrade.

honda and iphone
I have a 2015 honda fit ex and an iphone 6. Iphone just had an update and now my phone is not working properly with my car. It won't read or notify me of text messages. Also, I listen to spotify in the car. Before the update it would not show info under bluetooth but if I went to the ipod source all the info would come up. Now, it only works through bluetooth and will not work at all through ipod source or usb source. Sounds like the same kind of problems. Does anyone have any answers?

1. Enable bluetooth on the device and close all audio playing applications.
2. If you are going to hook up USB do that before the next step
3. Power on the vehicle ICE system
4. Wait until the vehicle says a device is connected and shows connected.
5. Now you can launch Spotify or whatever other app and get its metadata
If you leave the audio apps open or play before the vehicle says connected the data seems to be lost. Doing it this way I've had success so far every time.
