Can anyone recommend Kicker amps? I was recently at Best Buy and noticed they had an open box Kicker 500.1 sub amp for $120 (normally $230). I was thinking possibly pairing it with my JL 10w3v3 sub from my previous S2000 stealthbox setup.

Any thoughts?

 

hahah I have that same sub collecting dust in my garage.

I had an older 600.1 kicker pushing my 12" L7 solo, heck that's in the garage too. It was MORE than enough for the Fit.

Quick Google reviews are promising. Seems its rated at like 275rms at 2ohm which is PLENTY for the 10w3 and in NO way in danger of blowing it.

 

Thanks for the response. So I'm seeing it as 275watts rms at 4ohms on the Bestbuy website.

I just wanna make sure this is correct since apparently my sub is a 4ohm (10w3v3-4). Because if it's 275rms at 2ohms...then at 4ohms it'd be even less?

 

I've had a Kicker 500.4 in my EJ6 before, good buy!
