will the trunk apron for a Civic work on the Fit?

Hey all,

In my search for protection for the rear bumper, I came across the trunk apron that College Hills is trying to import for the Fit. These are also available for the Civic, and I'd imagine they're very similar:

Has anyone tried one of these? I'd rather get some sort of Honda (or Fit-specific) heavy-duty rubber bumper cover, but I have yet to find something like that. The bumper applique seems kinda wimpy compared to a real rubber cover.

What has your solution been for this?

There is this available specifically for the Fit:

It is still TBA for pricing but I bet you can get one off eBay.

Yeah, I saw the one specifically for the Fit, but I'm not patient! That, and I'll bet the Civic one is tons cheaper since it isn't imported. Still, once the Fit one is available we can compare the instructions to see how similar they are.
