ScotchGard the Seats??!!

Has anyone bought any of the 3M spray ScotchGard stuff for upholstery???
I bought a can and am thinking about spraying the seats as a precautionary measure.
What do you think???

3M Scotchguard

Yeah, I used the 3M Scotchgard on all of the cloth in my fit, the seats, the floor mats, the floor, the fabric on the doors, everything except the headliner, which I am going to do after I realized how much my passengers grab the oh sh*t handles. I put on 2 coats and used about 2 1/2 - 3 cans. It didn't' change the color or fade it at all. Just make sure that if there is any overspray on the plastic to wipe it off as soon as you can. If not it'll look funny when you try to clean it, especially if you use some sort of protector like Meguirs. I had a buddy who didn't care about overspraying his plastic and when he went to clean/protect his door panels the oversprayed parts didn't look shiny like the parts that he didn't overspray. Oh yeah and make sure you let it air out too. Good luck.
