Dogs and magic seats

Any dog owners on here? Just wondering how they like sitting on the floor with the magic seats either folded all the way down or lifted up if there's stuff in the trunk. I'm thinking lifting the seats up would be more comfortable for them.. My dogs typically like to crawl down into the foot well anyway so they don't slip off the seats. Picking up the car later today so I'll report back on how my dogs like it!

I have a 90lb dog we use a small dog bed for her when we have her in the space behind the rear seats and a large dog bed when the seats are down. She likes it best with the seats down

Our two medium size dogs (30 lbs and 38 lbs) travel in a kennel that we currently have in the back seat of our 1992 Accord. Once we get the Fit we'll have to experiment to see whether we put the kennel in the back seat (leaving the rear cargo space for groceries and stuff), or put the kennel in the cargo area and save the seats for somebody to sit in.

It really all depends on your dog. They can be quite different.

My pup, a one year old 55lb lab collie mix doesn't like the magic seats down. She likes sitting up in the car and having something to lean on. She sits like a little passenger.

Good luck!
