Kanyeasy's GE8 Jazz

Hey Fitfreaks,
I was never really interested in the Honda Jazz as a car until I detailed a friend's Jazz/Fit in Feb2020. Little did I know I instantly feel in love with the car. This lead me to buying my own my Honda Jazz (Australia) GE8 as a cheap daily. I started with the basic tinted windows because Australia is HOT af.... one thing lead to another I developed a mod bug.

Mod List (installed):
  • Tanabe front strut brace
  • Okuyama Carbing frame brace / rear
  • Okuyama Carbing front steel lower arm bar type I
  • Ultra racing - Room bar (2 Point)
  • Cusco front sway stabiliser bar
  • Cusco front lower arm bar VERSION II
  • Spoon subframe rigid collar kit front and rear
  • Spoon B-pipe & N1 muffler

Tanabe front strut brace mounting points

OKUYAMA CARBING frame brace / rear

Cusco front sway bar - subframe removed - shop installed

OKUYAMA CARBING frame brace / rear

OKUYAMA CARBING frame brace / rear + trim

Tanabe front strut brace mounting points

Ultra racing - Room bar (2 Point) - I know I have it installed incorrectly but cbf fixing it.

CUSCO FRONT SWAY STABILIZER BAR, CUSCO FRONT LOWER ARM BAR VERSION II, OKUYAMA CARBING FRONT STEEL LOWER ARM BAR TYPE I & SPOON SPORTS SUBFRAME REAR RIGID COLLAR KIT - shop install

Tinted windows cause Australia is HOT af. Rims came with the cars.

Love all the goodies especially the bars and rims. I’m also researching on wheels and after a set that’s exactly the same size and offset. I was told this will rub with the car lowered. Are you having any issues with the width and offset?

I haven't got tyres yet or lowered the car. I will post if any issues once I do. I don't believe it will rub because only 15inch rims.

Thanks mate! I’ve had some people tell me it’s fine while some telling that it will rub for sure when lowered or you’ve got a full car of passengers. I’m very close to picking up a set of rpf1 in 35 offset.

nice progress!
appreciate the pics of the suspension bars...was curious about the rear carbing bar and if jack and trim would still fit...as well as the rear upper UR.

Just received some fender braces second hand. Will install over Xmas.

Took nearly 2 months for shipping from the states but Revo short shifter finally arrived.

Out with the old OEM Honda shifter.

OEM Honda shifter (left) vs Revo short shifter (right).

Revo installed.

Great looking Fit and mods. That seems to be a lot of steel (weight) added to the car. What are your plans for HP or other handling improvements? Can you notice a difference with all the stiffeners, braces, and bars?

No plans on HP improvements but I do want to lower the car eventually. Yes I have noticed a big change in body roll and ride quality. Oddly the car feel more 'solid' with less noise and vibrations. I hope for more handling improvements when I get coilovers.

Picked up a Takeda Stage-2 Cold Air Intake from the wreckers. Looking forward to installing and hearing the difference =P

Did you have to drill holes for the rear carbing brace that's over the OEM jack?
