Interior Details of Jazz 2007

Here are some picture I took to show some interior details of my Honda Jazz 2007 (GD1). Seems that it is some diffrences from the US Fit?

First the dashboard. Under the dashboard I have a shelf. It seems to go all the way from left to right, but is just a small ledge in the middle. There is one shelf on the left and one on the right. I'm planing on putting some small rubbermats in those shelfs.

Close up Picture of the right side of dashboard.
Close up Picture of the left side of dashboard. You could see the glassbreak detektor on this picture. It is located under the dashboard on the right side towards the center console.

I have a lock on my gas lid that locks when I lock the doors. Here is a picture of the outer cover lid and the inner filler lid.

The lock in locket possition, look at the pin to the right side.

The lock in open possition, the pin on the right side is gone.

The left mirror (on the drivers side) have a small line to the left. And the mirror is curved outside that line to cover the blind spot.

Vanity mirrors on both left and right side. No light though...

Windows wiper controll. Right handle.

Light controll. Left handle. (I have foglights too)

Damn, thats a nice setup. I like how the shelf goes all the way to both sides. Much more useful. Our dashboards dont have much in comparison to your high mounted glove box and low shelf. Even better is the locking gas cap, we have to buy separate locking gas caps. Finally... we only have 1 vanity mirror.

It's the same as the one in Hong Kong, just different in left and right steering wheels. Also Hong kong version don't have cruise drive.

F0NIX, thanks for the pics, I need switches for my left handle too, i got push button switches for my foglights.

The Sport bumpers for the European/JDM models are supposedly cheaper because its made in thailand, here in Asia its about US$300 for the whole bumper with grilles and clips.

IDK about the lower "cubbies." Seems like knee room is loss. Notice the glovebox opens out towards you. US Fits open down towards the floor and are placed lower.
We also dont have radio controls on the wheel. And I want them.

Question, on the center console; whats those switches for? Heated seats? We aint got that either!!
I also notice headlight adjustments. Nope, aint got it.

The european fits have rear disc brakes standard, automatic climate control 7 speed paddle shifter behind the steering wheel, wheel mounted audio controls and a tiny little cabin sensor dunno what for.

On the picture with the two vanity mirrors I commented that there was no light there, and I ment there was no lights inside the mirrors or in the lid to the mirrors. But there are two seperate reading lights in the middle between the shades. But they only trow lights down and not into your face...

Can you take pictures of the shelf underneath?

That looks sort of long... not sure, but it looks like it goes all the way across from under the heating controls.

That is one of two temperature sensors for the A/C. The other one is on top of dashboard all the way in the front directed up. That one messure sunshine temperature and outside brightness according to the manual.

There is also another temperature sensor, not sure exactly where it is located, but it is outside and under the car some place and the temperature is shown in the little display where the ODO/Trip counter is. This one is not connected to the A/C as far as I know.

There is no loss of room for the knee in the front as the edge off the shelf does not come out that much.

About the switches in the center console under the handbreak; yes, it is for the heated seats. One for the left and one for the right seat.

Looks like we in Scandinavia has a good selections of small gadgets in this car that is not in cars in US or other places as standard, we only lack the option for a bigger engine (1.5L). And we don't have Basic or Sport options, only LS with sports styling as an add-on.
I also got the front foglight as an add-on. And they installed a new light switch in the same operation. There is a little fault on that right now; when using turnsignals to the right you could turn on headlights with just tuching the switcharm. To the left the arm has to go all the way over the "edge" before the lights come on (as it should do).

I'll take a better picture of the shelf under dashboard, but as I commented on the first interior detail picture; it is two shelfs that just have a design feature that looks like it is one. In the middle it is just a "hump", not even a pencil would fit there.
