I taped mine, but i kinda regret not taking the VTEC emblem off..I highly suggest taking the VTEC emblem off before painting.

is it double sided taped, or is it clipped on? i haven't even taken my cover off to look, but i wanna get some double sided tape now if i'm gonna need it

Theres push clips.

how do you remove the push clips? they seem one way, im pushin but they aint budging.

i couldnt get the emblem off so i bought a fresh razor and taped it off with blue tape worked perfectly but do share on how to remove the emblem

you'll need a flat tool that has a gap in the center. I didn't want to bother with those clips so I just masked it off with some painters tape. I'm hoping to have mine done by the end of today, but we will have to see

I couldnt get mine off either and almost broke the thing

I looked at it, noticed the clips and thought "Pssssh! That aint coming off."
I grabbed some masking tape after that.

oh for cryin out loud, someone here knows how to get those clips off. im thinkin about breaking them off, then using 2 sided tape to reattach it.

There's no problem with just regular spray-paint and the heat from the engine? They look wicked, plus it's something you can really customize to your taste.

What about the air filter box (for those who still have one...) - anybody paint that, too?

Nope. I drove around for a few hours yesterday and went to take off the cover when I got home. First thing I checked was the temperature of the part and it was warm and I could easily put my whole hand on top of it and it wasn't hot at all. The paint should have no problems under there. The heat should help the paint cure too hahaha

OK, I'm a little colour challenged, and I don't really have a bold yellow or red..... for a light metallic baby blue Jazz what would you suggest?

You take it off by putting masking tape over the top of it.

what color do oyu think would go good with my cai?
(i could always repaint the cai intoo...its got some scratches and could use a better job done on it).
