First pics of my 2008 VBP Fit Sport 5MT

Hi everyone,

I've been a happy Fit owner since early December 2007. Although I only have about 1500 miles on the car, I'm loving it. Modlist is short right now, but as with all the cars I've ever owned, I'm sure I'll be going all-out over the next few years. Right now, I'm just enjoying the nice mileage, cheap cost of ownership, and solid Honda build quality.

So far, this is all I have:
Honda Access JDM center console
Honda Access JDM door sills
Honda Access JDM chrome interior door handles
BF Goodrich Traction T/A V 195/55R15 tires
Philips X-treme Power driving lights
PIAA Plasma Ion Yellow fog light bulbs
PIAA Mirror Orange parking light bulbs
Spoon Sports reservoir tank cover
Spoon Sports short antenna
Honda OEM floormats
Honda OEM cargo net

I just installed the Philips/PIAA lighting up front today. Easy install, but my arms are pretty scratched up from the fender liner! Here are a couple shots after I put the bulbs in to show how they look before and after:

1. Lights off:

2. Lights on:

Thanks for looking, even though there's not much to look at yet (and these shots are meh).

-Mike

Your car is looking great! VBP is a rocking color choice. Welcome to the forum and to the Fit Family.

Thanks, Cat... been a lurker here for a while, but didn't post much until I actually bought the car. Take care!

Thanks, everyone! Yeah, I'm always reluctant to take that first "big" step with the mods on a new car, because once you do, then most of the mods that follow end up being big, too. JDM tails and finishing up all the exterior lighting is next. Then it'll be tint and most likely suspension bits. I'd really like to do the JDM F/R conversion, but one step at a time.

Here's a quick image I snapped earlier today while I was waiting for planes to fly overhead (today was mainly an aviation outing)... reflections on the side of the car FTL:

Thanks! Yeah, the color is nostalgic for me, since it reminds me of World Rally Blue on Subarus, and EBP on my old Civic Si. When I'm puttering around town, blue cars really catch my eye, and I think VBP is one of the nicer finishes I've seen out of all the econoboxes.

Nice pics!! The car looks great.
Interesting that you dont have factory tires... Why did you change them? That was one of the first things I noticed. And I didnt read the mod list. Hehh

Thanks! Regarding the tires, two reasons: (1) the stock Dunlops are absolute garbage, and (2) I suffered a flat tire after one month of owning the car. Couldn't find the stock tires *anywhere*, so I took advantage of Costco's January tire sale, and upgraded. These V rated tires are definitely much better than stock, without requiring me to break the bank on high-performance rubber. Getting lifetime rotations, nitrogen inflations, etc. is also nice. IMO, Honda should include better stock tires to begin with.
