The Dead Pedal Changed My Life!

Hi all... got my zetaproducts dead pedal and armrest in yesterday. Kudos to them for two really nice products, and easy to install! When I put in the armrest, I decided to put a power socket in because I'm a gadget freak. Here's a pic of the final result:

I cut a 1" hole in the armrest first, then set it in place and, using the hole in the armrest as my guide, cut a corresponding hole through the cup holder in the USDM center console. I then routed the extension cord under the console, removed the two rear screws from the console and put a dab or two of crazy glue on the trim of the socket to hold it in place, then ran the socket underneath and through the hole in the cup holder. I installed the armrest as usual, and now I have a nice little place to charge my phone or my Nuvi when it's not in use. It's a great, easy mod if you don't mind poking a hole in your center console.

OBTW, I also painted the foglight shrouds - went back and forth between flat and satin, decided on satin, and glad I did. I think it looks really nice. Still trying to get up the courage to do the headlights, but I'm sure that will happen pretty soon.

although i'm not too much of a fan on the black fog housings, It looks good. Mostly i think satin matches the texture of the grill.

The foglights were easy - cheap to replace if you screw up or if you don't like it, but there are all kinds of things that could go wrong with the headlights... dig your rims illmatic07!
