Couple small updates... back from the body shop
Couple small updates... back from the body shop
If you didn't know already I came out form lunch to find out I was the victim of a hit and run

Well it went to the body shop for its appointment Thursday (actually used the night drop Wednesday). They said they would need it all day Thursday and I could get it Friday night but they called friday saying there was a delay and it would be Monday instead and for the delay they would remove the front plate and fill the holes in the bumper for no extra charge..... originally when buying the car they had to do a dealer trade to get me what I wanted, they tried to find me one without a front plate but the one within a few hundred miles they would not give up. So I had to settle for a premounted plate
When I went for the estimate I was hoping they were gonna say they had to replace the bumper but they said they would fix it. When I filled out the night drop envelope I put in the comment section if for whatever reason they had to replace the bumper to not put the front plate on the new bumper, that's where they came up with the idea to shave the plate bracket for me. Definitely worth the delay (and the $100 deductible) in my opinion.
Anyways, as soon as it hit the driveway I snapped a pic.

Then I decided why not start taking it back apart

and a random pic of some cleaning stuff since I cleaned and reorganized the garage today, can you tell what brand I prefer

Why did I decide to take my bumper off?

All done (sorry no night pics yet)

Yeah its not often a body shop goes the extra mile for you but this shop is just like that. My last car got caught in a microburst and got rained on by roof shingles, between scraped up glass and paint it was over $4500 in repairs, they went the extra mile for me then to fixing a couple door dings and previous damage. They took care of me last time to. And another nice thing is since they are one of Allstates preferred body shops so anything the do is guaranteed as long as I own the car.
thanks
$155??? It's from aticusfit's GP
thanks
thanks
The HID's are stupid simple to install, plug and I agree, I love the look without the plate.
you know to be honest that's not that bad, they would need to remove and install the bumper, fill the hole, smooth it all out, fill in any small indents form the bracket, paint and blend the bumper. Such a small thing is still a decent amount of work. Paying the $100 deductable made me happy lol, I would have gladly paid an extra $100 when buying the car for one without a plate.
My fiance wants the box from mine LOL

Hey your car is looking great and you look like a Meguiers kind of person to me - I love their forum on the web and of course watching Car Crazy on the Speed channel. Your garage is about as small as mine - good thing we love our micros.
