New Wheels: 17" Volk Rays Daytona 707
Hey guys,
I got a chance to swap out my 15" Advan RGIIs for these new babies for my "murdered out" quest. These are the limited edition 17" Volk Rays Daytona 707 in even rarer gloss black color. The new tires are 205/45/17 Continental Sportcontact. A bit too much sidewall for my liking, but the car rides much better now and feels like stock.
It's stock height and I am not about to change that. The roads here look like a war zone...

Enjoy!

Very cool car, the JDM Fit in black looks good. But as you said, the tire sidewall is way too much in my opinion. If you're looking for a compromise between look and comfort, try a set of 16". Anyway, the rims are great, they fit (pun intended) perfectly.
I agree they look like 16s in some shots but other times I have to force my eyes to see the edge of the rim and then they look like 17s (2nd shot is a good example of this), for some reason I think they would look bigger lowered. Either way they're hot rims just something looks a little off
I think the big rubber is tricking me.

can you get some pics of it on the flat ground? with it hanging over the edge of the driveway it looks lower than it is
i've been considering 17s for some time now, but i'm not impressed with what i've seen so far on OEM suspension
